It is the strict policy of the Creel to source as much as possible locally, and the closer the better – fresh eggs from the village, lobsters and fish from the sea around us, rich Orkney milk (it's the best I've ever tasted) from Crantit Farm in St. Ola and so on. I will write about suppliers as and when I feel inspired.
This principle actually goes, mirabile dictu, even for the soap. We have rather nice Orkney soap. Lovely stuff, hand-made here in Orkney. I took the picture below in the shop when I was arranging an order yesterday.
