I posted a reproduction of a postcard last week. The word 'postcard' stuck in my mind and I eventually realised that this was because I seem to be living in picture-postcard land. What do I mean by this? Over the last few days of lovely spring lighting (interspersed with some jolly rainstorms and brisk winds) I have encountered postcard-worthy views at every turn! Here are three examples, taken over the last 3 days as I was out and about. What a place Orkney is for photographers! However, I'll start with my postcard of St Margaret's Hope. The Creel is slap-bang in the centre of the picture (of course😜). So I live in – and my guests can come to join me in – a picture postcard.😀😀😀 And now for 3 days' worth of postcards. This was on Sunday A view of Herston Monday Looking towards St. Mary's from Burray Tuesday At the end of an unnamed road on Burray. Find the spot here: 58°50'56.7"N 2°52'34.0"W

I bet you're right. I went to the geolocation on Google Maps and it says 'unnamed road'. We all know it's a crime to even think Google might be wrong! So I went with that...
