The county show was the big event of the week, with a lot of lovely cattle to be admired and judged. Also there was Williamsons, the butcher from whom the Creel gets its meat, with great food to give one the energy to wander through, and enjoy, the show. Williamsons' sirloins of beef born, raised and slaughtered in Orkney are so good and tender that they can be sandwiched in a hamburger bun and eaten just like that - no knife or fork required!
